FAQ 

What paper does it work on?
It works on all types of paper!

Isn't it going to light the paper on fire?!
No! The Elemental Ink disappears at 104°F (40°C) whereas normal paper lights at 451°F (233°C).

How cold does it need to get?
Freezer cold works well but dry ice or other arrangements work too if you want to take it to the next level!

How it works

Disappears With Heat

Becomes completely invisible when subjected to heat. Direct flame works well but also a hot lightbulb, a hot mug of just boiled water or even an iron work too. Around 104f (40c) is the temperature that the ink starts to disappear.


Reappears With Ice

Once disappeared, the ink is completely invisible until it's chilled to freezing temperatures. Thirty seconds in the freezer works great!

    Empty pens

    I bought a 9-pack of these and not one of them is leaving any ink, some of them are simply not giving ink, and some of them were practically empty of ink straight out of the package.

    Some work and some don’t.

    All the colors work but the black pens (the ones I most wanted to use) don’t work most of the time and they don’t work well or blend in with normal pens.

    Interesting but I think there could be improvements of course

    I had high hopes for these pens but they took a while to get any ink out and they were hard to write with and it was tough to know what I was writing but the ink flow is just not that great at all.. maybe I just got a bad set of pens idk

    Works - but slow

    At first, you're going to wonder why your pen is out of ink - write slow, take your time, and you'll get amazing results. I wish the initial experience was better, but the results were 100% awesome.

    So sorry your pens don't work as good as they should - if you drop us a message, we will be happy to send you a replacement pack! Glad you're still enjoyig them though

    The pens themselves were difficult to write with, but did work as they said for the disappearance and reappearance. Also, the shipping took forever.

    Sorry your pens took longer to arrive than you hoped. We offer shipping as fast as 1 business day but I see you selected our economy shipping option which is 10-15 business days. It's easy to miss the options at checkout but the faster shipping options are more expensive so we don't have them as default :)
